Crash Expert: “This Looks Like 1929” → 71,105 Diversifying Here
Mark Spitznagel, who made $1B in a single day during the 2015 flash crash, warned markets are mimicking 1929. Seems extreme but we did just see the worst quarter for the S&P since 2022.
So it’s not so surprising that Vanguard and Goldman Sachs forecasted 5% and 3% annual S&P returns respectively for 2024-2034.
Late last year, Apollo’s chief economist Torsten Slok put it this way: "expect zero in return in the S&P 500 over the coming decade."
Almost no one knows this, but postwar and contemporary art appreciated 10.2% annually with near-zero correlation to equities from 1995–2025 overall.*
And sure… billionaires like Bezos can make headlines at auction, but what about the rest of us?
Masterworks makes it possible to invest in legendary artworks by Banksy, Basquiat, Picasso, and more – without spending millions.

Today's AI news is all about infrastructure and reach — from Anthropic landing Claude inside the AWS ecosystem to OpenAI pushing real-time voice into the API. Meanwhile, the race to power AI at scale is literally leaving the atmosphere, with a fresh-funded startup planning orbital data centers. Lots of movement on the platform layer.
Today's Top Stories
Anthropic Launches Claude Platform on AWS Anthropic's Claude Platform is now generally available for AWS customers, bringing the full Claude API — including Managed Agents, web search, code execution, and the Files API — natively into AWS with IAM authentication, CloudTrail audit logging, and single-invoice billing. Claude Opus 4.7, Sonnet 4.6, and Haiku 4.5 are all available, with new models shipping to AWS the same day they hit the native API. It's Anthropic's biggest enterprise distribution move yet.

AKOOL launched a production-grade AI video inference engine that generates video clips in as little as 1–3 seconds — versus tens of seconds with traditional approaches — and supports real-time streaming at sub-30ms latency per frame. The rebuilt full-stack system spans cloud, real-time, and on-device deployments, and already powers AKOOL's Live Camera product for real-time digital avatars and live translation. AI video is officially moving from post-production into live communication.

As AI compute demand explodes, one startup is looking to space. Cowboy Space Corporation closed a $275M Series B led by Index Ventures at a $2B valuation — and plans to build its own rocket to put data centers in orbit, putting it in direct competition with SpaceX and Blue Origin. The company argues current rockets are too scarce and too expensive to meet the scale of AI infrastructure demand, and expects its first launch before the end of 2028.
