OpenAI has filed a confidential IPO application with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as lead underwriters, targeting a September 2026 public listing. Mistral Seeks $3.5 Billion at a Nearly Doubled Valuation

French AI lab Mistral is in early discussions to raise approximately €3 billion ($3.5 billion) at a valuation of roughly €20 billion — nearly double the €11.7 billion it commanded in its September Series C. The company is burning through capital quickly, building owned data centers near Paris and a €1.2 billion facility in Sweden. CEO Arthur Mensch told CNBC this week that Mistral is even exploring designing its own chips to reduce its dependence on NVIDIA.

Meta has entered a five-year infrastructure agreement with AI cloud provider Nebius worth $27 billion total — $12 billion in dedicated capacity featuring one of the first large-scale deployments of NVIDIA's Vera Rubin platform, plus a $15 billion commitment for additional capacity. Nebius will build and operate the infrastructure on Meta's behalf across Europe and North America, underscoring how much compute spending has shifted from CapEx to long-term contracted arrangements.
